Born on November 10, 1994, in Gatineau QC Canada, Vanessa rose to stardom as part of a singing act with the country festival circuit in eastern Canada.
In October 2014, Vanessa was nominated for female Pop artist at the LA Music Awards in Los Angeles California. The song on her album “Don’t Turn and Walk Away” was #1 in October 2014 at the KX 92.1 Hot Country Radio station in Palm Springs California. She started working with Jim Richardson Jr. from Rockland Mass. who is her Co-Manager, and songwriter. He wrote the song Butterfly Feeling which was recorded as a single in February 2016 and which, he and Vanessa won an Award for March 2016 by the Akademia Music Award for Best Country/Pop Song in Los Angeles California. In August 2016, the song Butterfly Feeling received a nomination for the IMEA Music Awards.
Teaming up with ACE Agency in the spring of 2017, her career quickly made a jump forward. In July 2017, Vanessa joined Tabletop Records and released “Drop the G”. This hit song was played more than 2200 times per week in Ohio only! The video from the same song reached 133,000 viewers on YouTube. This was followed by a second hit song, "Worth a Shot" released on video only in September 2019, the song attracted the attention of The Orchard and Sony Music. The nationwide release is scheduled for November 15th, 2019.
Vanessa has been singing since the age of 12. Now at 25, she has more than 650 performances on stage. From this, she has risen to be an extraordinary confidant performer delivering quality, energy and emotions on stage. The team has grown to include, White Lion Audio, High Notes Artist Management, and ACE Agency Inc. Since 2018, she now performs with an eight piece band, all professionals from East Canada.
